One of my favourite subjects are butterflies. The amazing colour scheme on their wings makes for intriguing photographs and the thrill of waiting for the right moment to capture the shot makes it even more meaningful. These were taken during a visit to our local butterfly farm down in KL a few months back. Yea, these are pretty old photos but I kinda re-edited and decided to post them up. There're not many, but these are the best of the batch. Enjoy!

KDU Law Society Bake Sale: Muffins & Brownies!
On Thursday the 19th of August, the KDU Law Society decided to hold a bake sale to raise funds for the club - all courtesy of one very charitable and naturally talented baker , Ms. Jaydee Lok - Who kindly contributed her time and effort to baking the items for sale. Basically there were two types of pastry - muffins and brownies. There were vanilla, oatmeal and chocolate - and the brownies were, naturally, chocolate. And my goodness did everything taste good. I could've had the whole lot myself. Well, at the end of the day it was all worth it as the event was a huge success - we managed to sell over 100 muffins and at least 30 pieces of brownies, which was close to everything. We made enough to cover the costs and on top of that we earned some profit as well. Anyways, enjoy these pictures - I managed to snap quite a few while everyone was busy, you know, buying, selling, eating, whatever.
First up - The delicious chocolate muffins! Thank goodness I managed to photograph these the moment they were taken out of the box. They were the first to be sold out.
There's our little money box. In the shape of a very adorable red truck. It did a good job safely keeping all the money we made.
The extremely chocolatey and mouth-watering brownies. Totally sinful food.
Our earnings for the day! Not sure exactly how much that was, but it was enough to cover our costs and of course, make a profit. Oh by the way, here's our little red truck again but this time with its top off.
And finally - here's Jaydee - Our baker! Anyways, congratulations to everyone on a job well done, 'til the next event!

My Chubby Kid Brother - ADRIAN LAU
This dude is a few years my junior, still struggling to look matured enough to get into the clubs - but he's an annoyingly good friend with an infectious laugh and a habit to kick. We share our time on and off the basketball court and he's like the kid brother I never had. You'll definitely see him more often here but for now, these are the 2 best pictures I've taken of him. And to you Mr. Lau - I hope you like your new profile pictures. Cheers!

The One Who Shares My Initials, Her Bestie, Operation EJ & A Coconut
The title of the post seems rather misleading eh? Don't worry. There will be those who make sense of what I'm referring to and there will be those that don't. ANYWAY in simple terms this was just an outing to one of our overly famous shopping malls a week ago. Took me ages to get the colour balance right due to the agonizing lighting conditions. This was the best I could manage. Enjoy! :)

I Got Bugged!
Well, not literally. But a couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of going for a SUPER-COOL car show. Not just ANY car show, mind you. Not your regular high-end sports/luxury car stuff. This time, VOLKSWAGEN BEETLES turned up in all their flair and splendor! Seriously, these dudes literally blow holes in their pockets to modify their bugs in their best efforts to make them look unique. At the end of the day, judges would adjudge the best looking car and award its owner. The whole purpose of this was bragging rights of course, no financial gain whatsoever was to be obtained. And I'm like, damn, people pay so much just to brag that their car looks the best among others? Hmmm.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Until next time people!
This yellow cabby-looking Bug was one of my favourites. It had a really simple, uncluttered yet sleek look. Beautiful paint, attractive rims, really caught my attention. Wouldn't mind cruising around in one of these.
Flower alert! Well there was a whole row of these old volks vans. The highlight was certainly this one. One of the most attractively painted box-on-wheels around. I wonder how much the owner spent on the paint job. And specifically for a vehicle to drive to a picnic. Haha.
That registration plate is seriously cool, but I'd really like to see how it'd do on Malaysian roads. Especially if one of our ever-so-obliging police personnel decides to stop the car and take a closer look. Dude. Get your ass AND your toy back to California! Just kidding. His car was nice. I only got a shot of the plate though.
Yea man. By all means. If you can't afford a Lambo that's got winged doors, splash out some cash and, literally, put some wings on your Beetle! But yea, I was told that the hinges don't cost that much. And the car seriously looks superb. I should try it out on a Kancil.
Yes, in case you guys are wondering, that IS a VW Beetle. With the hood of a Rolls Royce. Pretty interesting don't you think?
In case you're asking questions again, this is an interesting shot (I think) of a honk. Believe me, its LOUD.
Outdoor speakers! Strictly for car shows only. I was told by the owner he spent RM10,000 just to fix that up. Pretty worth it though, he won the award for the best sound system or something to that effect.
Check out the colour on this baby!
