Now when we mention Kuala Lumpur a lot of us would probably expect shots of our famous KLCC Twin Towers and/or other famous hotspots around the city. I would photograph things like that, but then it wouldn't be special anymore would it? Our city centre bursts with life. And to be frank, it's a photographer's haven - I would honestly spend hours there just trying to capture everything that goes on in the bustling city. However, given my limited time during a short visit to the city square, these items captured my eye. And it would help us to sometimes pay a little attention to the finer things in life. You never know what you would find. To start things off, one or more of KL's skyscraping structures.

Malaysia's 53rd Year of Independence - A celebration of some magnitude
Well I just couldn't think of any title to give this post so I just typed out the first thing that came to my mind. Anyhow, on the 30th of August I had the privilege of attending a Merdeka Countdown Party at HELP University College down in Damansara. It was a really fun night but the highlights were of course the bands and other performances. A few bands (mine included) took the stage during the event and usually, I get really used to being photographed but this time around I tried my hand out at band photography. These shots are of friends from Psycho Anthem - one of the most talented rock bands I've heard in a long time. Before I get too draggy, enjoy these shots. Oh, but to kick things off, a little tribute to our gorgeous flag the Jalur Gemilang.
