Malacca Roadtrip: All The Good Food

What's up peepz! So last Wednesday a few friends and I took a trip down to Malacca to check out the place and enjoy some of the good food. So for the first edition of this 3-4 part series, here's some pictures of the absolutely YUMMY, DELICIOUS food we enjoyed. The highlight was definitely seafood by the beach as the sun set behind us. The experience was just spectacular. Allow these pictures to tell the story. Enjoy!

Malacca's REKNOWNED Chicken Rice Balls. The balls of rice are absolutely delicious and perfectly made while the white chicken is just one of the best I've ever tasted. Genuinely cooked to perfection. Here's the shop owner/cook doing his thing.

Relaxing while waiting for customers. It was still pretty early in the morning, we tried to avoid the afternoon lunch-rush. Anyways, for teatime, we headed over to Donald & Lily's for the apparently famous Nyonya Laksa and Cendol. My verdict? Definitely worth our time and money. Deliciously authentic.

The rojak (last pic) was also splendid. After a mouth-watering afternoon, we headed over to Tanjung Bidara to take a walk and have a seafood dinner. That was certainly the best part of the day. The only picture I managed to salvage was THE dish of the evening: Fried squid. That dish alone made EVERYTHING worth it (not that the others were not equally delicious).

More to follow in the upcoming posts. Stay tuned!
